15/10/09 The Uplifter meets Friendly Fire Crew

Every third Friday of the month, the Friendly Fire Sessions is the only regular live reggae link up in Brum.

This Month, Friendly Fire Sessions proudly present:

THE UPLIFTER

The Uplifter was first introduced to Friendly Fire at Shambala’s Roots Yard
2009 when he performed an exceptional set of heavy dub, roots, ska and
dancehall with live drums and a truly positive vibe. Since then, The
Uplifter has also performed as part of the dub to dubstep
tour alongside Channel One and RSD, performed with Pablo Rider, and has
built a solid reputation on the reggae circuit. Expect a musical
repertoire of positive vibrations and highly energetic atmospheres,
with the live percussion bringing a refreshing and freely expressive
element to the performance.

This is the first time in Birmingham
that you will be able to witness The Uplifter, alongside the Jam Jah
Sound and the Friendly Fire Family for a semi-live heavy-weight
extravaganza.
